Financial Accountant (m/f/d) - part-time 20h

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to take on all tasks related to financial accounting – from invoice processing and payment transactions to preparing financial statements. You work accurately, communicate confidently with both internal teams and external partners, and keep a clear head even when things get complex. In your role you will:
 
  • Review, process, and file all incoming and outgoing invoices and receipts
  • Manage and execute domestic and international payment transactions
  • Perform account allocation and ensure accurate bookkeeping
  • Handle account reconciliations and maintain regular communication with suppliers and customers
  • Support all areas of financial accounting (IFRS & HGB)
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Serve as contact for tax authorities, auditors and tax advisors

What do you need to bring along?

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally complemented by a relevant professional qualification 
  • You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in financial accounting
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of financial, tax, and commercial law
  • You have strong and reliable IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and preferably SAP
  • Your working style is well-organized, accurate, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • You demonstrate strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • You are naturally open-minded, flexible, and proactive, especially when implementing complex goals
  • You have experience working in an international environment and possess fluent German and English skills
